Space still available for FREE Health Services Research and Health Disparities Workshop San Francisco, September 11-12, 2010

 

The American College of Epidemiology and its Minority Affairs Committee
INVITE:

Minority Masters and PhD Health Services students, epidemiology, and public health students, MD/MPH students, epidemiologists, and health care professionals, to participate in the First Health Services Research and Health Disparities Workshop in memorable San Francisco, California, Saturday and Sunday, September 11-12, 2010.

Workshop Speakers include: Dr. Robert Kaplan (University of California Los Angeles), Dr. Ralph Gonzalez, (University of California San Francisco), Dr. Todd Johnson, (University of Texas Houston), and Key Note Luncheon Speaker Dr. Mary Haan, (University of California San Francisco).

This is a FREE Workshop. Accepted Minority Health Services Research Students will receive air, lodging, and Conference registration stipend. Students will have the opportunity of presenting, and get feedback, on their health services research projects. Send a 200-word abstract of your scientific inquiry into the ways in which health services are delivered to various constituents’ project, at the address below.     DEADLINE is Friday, September 3rd 2010.

(Minorities include, but are not limited to: United States citizens who are African American, Hispanic American, Native American, and Natives of the U.S. Pacific Islands).
