Please note: Posters must be attended by an author during the poster presentation session. Authors’ attendance is important to allow exchange and networking. General Poster GuidelinesPoster boards are 4 feet (121 cm) high by 4 feet (121 cm) wide. Each poster board will be numbered for identification purposes. The poster board number can be located onsite in the conference program. Posters can be mounted using pushpins or thumbtacks (please bring your own). Posters can be prepared in portrait or landscape format, preferably printed on one sheet. The top of the poster should include the title, authors and their affiliations, as indicated on the abstract. It should also include a statement of purpose, methods, results and conclusions (see below). Graphics should be simple and clear. All text should be written clearly in good English and should be legible from a distance of at least 3 feet (90 cm). The poster layout should be designed to include the following information:
Please ensure that your poster is in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulation and does not include individually identifiable health information (including data and photos). Posting of commercial/product sale advertisements is prohibited. Posters deemed commercial in nature will be removed from the poster hall. No other equipment (AV, computers, etc.) can be displayed next to the poster. Any oversized material mounted on poster boards will be clipped to fit poster board dimensions. Please prepare 25 hand-out copies (color or B&W) of your poster. PublicationAll abstracts will be published in the Annals of Epidemiology. These abstracts may be reviewed here.
