Why do you want to serve as a leader of the College?
To continue to provide an essential mid-career perspective that will help the College fulfil its mission and vision. I am a strong proponent of transparency, fairness, inclusion and diversity.

What are your qualifications and experiences that will help you in service as a leader?
I seek a second term as a Board member so that I may continue to work to enhance the College. Previous to my election to the Board, I served six years on the Publications Committee, three of which I served as Chair. I have also previously served on the Program Committee for our annual meeting and I currently serve on the Standing Program Committee, which is reviewing and revitalizing the annual meeting planning materials. I am a proponent of succession planning and the use of standard operating procedures for College activities in order to enhance efficiency and ensure continuity. I played a leading role in the search for the new Editor in Chief of Annals of Epidemiology as well as the College’s new Association Management Company, which has refreshed our dynamism and outlook. I believe in open and transparent communication to ensure a diversity of perspectives are included in shaping the direction of the College and our field. I will ensure that it remains a top College priority to provide mentorship to, and seek involvement of, the more junior members of our membership.
